Ora.med · Smart Calm is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
We treat accessibility as a core value, not just a regulatory requirement. The site has been built to meet Israeli Standard 5568 (which mirrors WCAG 2.0 Level AA) and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.

Accessibility menu
An accessibility button is available on every page (bottom-left, person-in-circle icon). Clicking it opens a panel with personal adjustments:
- Text size — increase up to 1.375× (4 levels)
- Contrast — high contrast (black/yellow), inverted, bright on dark
- Highlight links — emphasize all links with color and outline
- Highlight headings — emphasize all headings with frames
- Stop animations — disable motion and transitions
- Readable font — switch decorative fonts to a clean sans-serif
- Line spacing — increase the gap between lines
- Larger cursor — enlarged mouse pointer
- Reset — return to defaults
Settings are saved in your browser and applied automatically on future visits.
Other features implemented
- Skip link ("Skip to main content") — appears when using the Tab key
- Semantic HTML — structured use of
header / nav / main / footer / sectiontags - ARIA — labels on interactive elements, alt text on meaningful images, decorative images marked appropriately
- Full keyboard support — entire site navigable with keyboard alone (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter / Space / Esc)
- Visible focus indicator — clear blue outline on the active element when navigating by keyboard
prefers-reduced-motionsupport — animations are disabled automatically on devices configured for it- Accessible forms — labels linked to fields, clear error messages, required-field markers
- Flexible text — site works at up to 200% zoom without breaking layout
- Two languages — Hebrew and English with appropriate text direction (RTL/LTR)
Supported assistive technologies
The site has been tested with common combinations of browser and screen reader:
- NVDA + Firefox / Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS / iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- OS-level magnifier — supported
Known gaps
We continue to improve. We acknowledge the following are not fully accessible at this stage:
- Audio meditations are not yet accompanied by a written transcript by default — a text version can be requested through our team alongside the meditation
- The studio entry forms may be challenging for some screen-reader users. Improvements are in progress

Response process
Accessibility inquiries are answered within 5 business days. If additional time is needed for review or repair, we will reply with a timeline. For complex fixes, we will provide an interim alternative until a permanent solution is in place.
